Even after having it for months, I still have to switch between this chair and a regular desk chair. As you will see in other people's reviews, the seat back is way too far back which forces you to hold your torso completely straight and with no assist from the chair. This chair is nice for a few hours at a time. It really helps my body to switch back and forth between the two styles of chairs. As others have said, your shins will hurt from this chair. The padding is good, but the padding covers/fabric easily stretch and become a little loose (again, only a few months of use). Overall, a good chair, but prob wouldn't have purchased for that much ($500) if I had gotten to try it first because you really still need a regular desk chair. Kind of a hassle to get in and out of.
