Chair was REALLY comfortable for a really long time- so much so that I literally fell asleep in it every once in a while when I first got it. It lasted about a year. The seat wore through so I could feel the support underneath, and the welding was not great. After about 6 months, the seat support bar started to separate from the floor stand, one spot weld at a time, till the whole thing felt like balancing on a stick in the end (which you essentially are).It was easy to assemble, but the screw covers were continuously popping out. I didn't really find that too bothersome.Overall I was happy, but I would have been happier if it would have lasted a little longer and been a little sturdier considering it was marketed as for big and tall people. The size of the seat was great, the height and width were perfect (I'm 5'8" and 265 lbs).I got it because my old chair was falling apart, and I specifically wanted a desk chair meant to swivel rather than roll. I have mobility issues that make a rolling chair possibly even dangerous. It has worked out well for me -- not perfect, but good and a good price.I have it on a hard floor and it does shift a bit as I get up and down. I have to reposition it every day or so. But it's safer than a wheeled desk chair, so if you have balance issues or what have you, I recommend a chair like this that is on a pedestal but swivels. My dog has not forgiven me for getting a chair I can sit back in. He's an Italian grayhound -- a "Velcro" dog, and in the old chair, I had to sit forward to type. He would get between my butt and the back of the chair. He tries now, but it isn't as comfortable for him, and if I so much as shift position (since it's meant to be sat back in) he grumbles. But I'm not docking a star off because of that. ;) It's a fine chair, just not perfect.I do have to say it was easy to assemble and did come early. It is comfortable and hope it stays that way. There was a gouge out of the metal base right out of the box as well the back rest has a weird wrinkle inside the chair which you can feel without the lumbar pillow. Don't believe that was meant to be there. Also there is what looks like rain drops on the arm rest in trying to wipe them off they dont come off so I'm assuming a chemical of some sort. For construction it seem good but do want to note the rod comming up from the base just sits in and the chair sits on it so there is really nothing holding them together. Great to store it but to pick up and move it all falls apart. And if your tall maybe not recommended. I'm 5'6" and my head is over the head rest. I do have a long torso but any one over 5'9" would have the same situation. All in all its not a bad chair, will work for my office chair.Assembly: It was easy to assemble, but it didn't come with instructions. The parts and bolts were well-packaged in sections so that made it easy to figure out. It came with extra bolts and washers too.Comfort: It's a large chair and very comfortable. I like chairs with arm rests that move up out of the way; high backs and without wheels so this met all three preferences. It lifts, rocks and swivels well.Dislikes: The only issue is the smell. The PU leather gives off a terrible chemical odor. Even with ventilation, I can smell the chair within a 10 foot radius. In an enclosed room, the smell fills the space. It's been 3 days since assembly and it hasn't gotten better yet. We may put it outside overnight to air it out.My son loves this chair. He saved for it for his gaming setup and it's a great price for the quality. This chair is sturdy and comfortable. He loves the vibrating lumbar pillow as well as the look of it.Assembly started off well and the instructions were simple to follow, but the holes in one arm pieces didn't line up with the chair back piece so it required many tools and over an hour just to get that one arm piece in place enough that I could get the screw all the way in without stripping it.In the end, after all of that, it really is a good chair for the price and options he was looking for, just needs to be quality controlled better. So after using it for a few months I have to say I am impressed. The chair is comfortable and sturdy, I'm able to play for hours with no back pain. I used a dinning room chair before and within 30 min my lower back would bother me and my tail bone but not with this chair. It was easy to assemble, I bought one with no wheels because I move around when I play games lol and I didn't want to be all over the place. This chair is great for adults but my 8 yr old has issues with it and needs pillows behind her back so she can comfortably sit forward, the chair is a little too deep for her liking. Overall I recommend this chair, will be updating again at the end of the year. The chair looks fantastic. My husband is pretty hard to impress, but was pretty wowed by this chair. It's also comfortable for long periods of time and very sturdy. I bought it because the floors in my living room are wood and I didn't want to mess them up with a rolling chair, but also because I really like the saucer base on this chair. The little pillow actually plugs in and has massage, but I don't use it for lack of a place to plug it in (not using the chair at a computer desk). The chair was very easy to assemble. I put it together in about 20 minutes by myself.Just one complaint. There's a little ding in the leather on the side of the chair. Otherwise, it's in perfect condition! My son has had this chair for over a year and likes it very much. He says it is very comfortable and can be adjusted to your liking. He uses it for working from home and also for gaming purposes.
